An IT company
you'd actually want to call
HBS Connect, an IT company in Wexford, had branding that wasn't doing them justice. The team's whole strength is being approachable — they can explain tech to anyone without making them feel stupid. We rebuilt the brand from the ground up so the visual side finally matched the people behind it.
Where they started.
HBS Connect had existing branding but felt it wasn't working anymore — and the job of fixing it felt too big to tackle on their own.
Who they are.
HBS Connect are an IT company based in Wexford. What makes them different isn't the technology — plenty of IT companies sell that. It's the people. The team can sit down with someone who's never touched a server in their life and explain what's happening without ever making them feel stupid.
They came to us because their branding didn't reflect any of that. It felt corporate and cold — like every other IT company. They knew they needed to overhaul the visual side, but the task felt overwhelming. They didn't know where to start, what to prioritise, or how to keep the work manageable while also running a business.
What they needed.
- Make an IT company feel approachable — show the personalities behind the screen.
- Refresh the full identity so the brand matches the calibre of the work.
- Break the work into manageable chunks so the team isn't overwhelmed mid-project.
- Cover everything they touch — logo, stationery, business cards, window and door graphics.
The work, in phases.
Three months, broken into manageable chunks. We started with the foundations, worked our way out to everyday touchpoints, and finished with the in-the-real-world pieces.
Logo & brand foundations
We started with the foundation — the logo and the visual rules that everything else would hang off. The brief was clear: the brand had to feel like the people, not like every other IT company. Approachable, human, confident without being corporate.
- Logo design
- Colour palette and typography
- Brand guidelines document
- Visual rules for how the brand applies across every format
Stationery & print
With the foundations locked, we moved to the everyday things — the pieces the team hands to clients, sends in the post, or uses in meetings. Same brand, applied consistently across every format.
- Business cards
- Stationery — letterheads, with-comps slips
- Email signature design
- Templates the team can use day-to-day
Signage & environment
The final phase took the brand off the screen and into the physical space — the office, the front door, the windows. The bits that signal who you are before anyone walks in.
- Window graphics
- Door graphics
- Brand handover with the team
- A clear path forward for what comes next
Look, don't tell.
From the logo on a business card to graphics across the front of the office. The brand applied at every scale.
