The brief
Irish Pride asked us in to review how their plant handled planned maintenance (PM). It was all pen and paper: job sheets filled in by hand, filed away, and dug back out at audit time. It worked, but it was slow to run, easy to lose track of, and painful to audit. We saw a clear opportunity to digitise the whole process.
What we did
- Reviewed the existing pen-and-paper PM process end to end
- Built a no-code system to run it, deployed on tablets on the floor
- Allocated maintenance jobs by frequency, daily, weekly, monthly and beyond
- Added a central jobs board surfacing every outstanding task, to push completion rates up
The result
Planned maintenance now runs entirely through the tablets, no paper, no filing, no lost job sheets. Jobs are allocated by frequency and the central board keeps outstanding tasks visible, so completion stays high. And because everything's captured digitally, auditing that used to take hours is dramatically faster.
