The Dance Shop of Ireland was created in 2016 after its founder Lisa, spotted a gap in the regional market. As a dancer herself Lisa understands proper fitting shoes and uniforms are an integral part of a ballet class. There was no actual dance shop in the southeast of Ireland and so The Dance Shop of Ireland was born.

Lisa had an existing website that didn’t meet her requirements. She wanted to create a user friendly e-commerce site along with an additional appointment booking system for pointe shoe fittings.

We analysed the existing issues and requirements and came up with a re-development plan to improve the design and functionality, as well as improved site architecture for search engines. Some of the key requirements include:
