Designer (Web & Graphic)

Initiate, a leading web design and digital marketing agency, is seeking a Designer to join our team. As a key member of our creative department, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with a cross-functional team, and bring innovative design solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

Web Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs for clients across various industries. Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
Graphic Design: Design captivating graphics for digital and print media, including social media graphics, email templates, infographics, presentations, and marketing collaterals.
Branding and Identity: Develop and maintain clients’ brand identities, ensuring consistency across all design elements and marketing materials.
UI/UX Optimization: Optimize user interfaces and experiences for client websites and applications to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
Collaborative Ideation: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that align with clients’ branding and objectives.
Visual Content Creation: Design eye-catching visuals, illustrations, and icons that elevate the overall aesthetic and engagement of client projects.
Design Research: Stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to client projects.
Client Collaboration: Engage in client meetings and presentations to discuss design concepts, gather feedback, and ensure client satisfaction with the final deliverables.

Requirements

Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in web and graphic design, preferably within a digital agency environment.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, or other relevant tools.
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including web and digital assets.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Experience with video editing and creation is a plus, but not a requirement.

Remote/Hybrid – You can work from the comfort of your home or choose a hybrid arrangement, splitting your time between remote work and in our Wexford office collaboration.
